One of my friends in Malaysia forwarded me an e-mail.
She is very good at collecting something funny.Here you go!

YOU KNOW YOU ARE LIVING IN 2006 when... 　　
1. You accidentally enter your password on the microwave. 　　
2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards in years. 　　
3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of 3. 　　
4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you. 　　
5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that 　　　　
they don't have e-mail addresses. 　　
6. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if 　　　 　
anyone is home to help you carry in the groceries. 　　
7. Every commercial on television has a web site at the bottom of the 　　　 　
screen. 　　
8. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't have 　　　　
the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic　　　　
and you turn around to go and get it. 　　
10. You get up in the morning and go on line before getting your coffee. 　　
11. You start tilting your head sideways to smile. :) 　　
12. You're reading this and nodding and laughing. 　　
13. Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to forward 　　　　
this message. 　　
14. You are too busy to notice there was no #9 on this list. 　　
15. You actually scrolled back up to check that there wasn't a #9 on 　　　　
this list...AND NOW U R LAUGHING at yourself.

In my case, I nodded and laugh at most of the list, but especially at #13!

マレーシアの友人から上記内容のメールが届きました。彼女は、こういった小咄を見つけるのが上手です。転送されてきたのを見ては、にやっと笑わされています。私の周りに合うようにちょっと手直ししながら訳してみました。題して、 　「2006年、今どきの人って...」 　

1. 電子レンジを操作していて、うっかり何かのパスワードを入力してしまった。 　
2. もう何年も、本物のトランプで「ソリテア」をしたことがない。 　
3. 家族3人に連絡を取るための電話番号を15個知っている。 　
4. 職場で隣に座っている人にもEメールを送る。 　
5. 家族や友人と疎遠になるのは、彼らがEメールアドレスをもっていないからだと　　　
思っている。 　
6. 買い物から戻って自宅の前に車を駐め、誰か荷物運びを手伝ってくれる人が　　　
　　いないか、携帯電話をかけたことがある。 　
7. テレビのCMは、どこの会社も画面にURLを出しておくべきだと思う。 　
8. 携帯電話を持たずに外出してパニックに陥り、自宅に引き返したことがある。 　
10.朝起きると、コーヒーより、まずはインターネット(Eメール）のチェックだと思う。 　
11.笑顔になると、つい首をかしげる　:) 　
12.この文章を笑ったり頷いたりしながら読んでいる。 　
13.しかも、この人に転送しようと思い当たる人がいる。 　
14.読むのに夢中で、9番がないことに気がつかなかった。 　
15.それを確かめるために、実際に画面をスクロールした。　
　　で、今、照れ笑いをしているでしょ？

私はほとんど全部、にやっとしました。中でも13番にはどっきり。11番は、日本語でEメールを書く人にはあまり当てはまらないかもしれません (^_^)v ね。
